We finally have some movement on our lot! This week we chose our builder (Kingswood) and were so eager to meet on Wednesday and get things rolling! We hashed out some final decisions about the plans, discussed the schedule, and signed them off (shown above)!
This morning (they move fast! which is good), the survey team came to “box stake” the house…a new term I learned meaning they roped off the outline of the house with a yellow ribbon and stakes. It was very helpful for us to see how it’s gonna lay out towards our back view.
I asked one of the guys (project manager, Tim) to stand exactly where our front door would be (he’s in blue)…

what fun you must be having planning it all. everytime i see you pin an image of some amazing built-ins i get more and more anxious to see this house!
