Kate and I had such a fun time at the Justin Bieber concert. We are both big fans :). Kate first discovered the Biebs at Carmel a few summers ago when the DJ at the pool played Baby, Baby ooohhh. I remember when it came on the radio and I heard her singing it, I was stunned she knew the song and she reminded me that she had heard it at the pool. My girl loves to sing and dance and it seems like JB’s songs come up a good bit when we have our little performances at home. Kate and her buddies would go wild when their teacher would play his songs at Hip-Hop class :).
When I heard he was coming to Charlotte, I knew it would be such a good opportunity to bond with my girl. A special memory to be made. I was talking to “G” the other day and she was telling me how she remembers every minute of the Elvis concert she went to with her mom (our Bebop) when she was 5. I am pretty sure that both Kate and I will remember every minute of this night as well. I think some people were a little “concerned” about taking a kindergartener to see JB. I can honestly say, Justin knew his audience. He and his crew danced their tails off with really no innuendoes if you will. He was engaging with the screaming little girls (and big girls) and just had fun, like we all did.
We were so excited to realize that our buds “Mrs. Cheryl” and her sweet Ava (a “big kid” to Kate) were coming to the concert too. We met up beforehand for dinner and rode home together and got to rehash the night. So fun to get to share the excitement with friends.

I took some random video footage, nothing too spectacular but we love to re-watch it (it starts off with Carly’s Rae’s “Call me Maybe,” she opened for JB, another HUGE part of the night).
I can already safely say that this night will be a highlight of 2013.

So jealous of this. J wanted to go so bad but I wasn’t sure if he was ready for it but in hind site wish we did. Glad you guys had a blast!!! Memorable for sure.
