Eve continues to entertain us. In the past week we have seen several traits, similar to that of her older sister at this age, emerge. She has a sudden passion for picking out her clothes and dressing herself. She has always had an opinion of some sort, but she has taken it to a whole other level. In the picture above, you see her purple only day…shirt, pants, shoes, headband. She was insistent on every bit of it.
We have also been in the throes of potty training…still. This one is way more stubborn about it than Kate was. We’ll get there though. One morning, Eve came into our room like this, a protest that she still wants to wear her pullups I think…

Eve loves her babies and kids. On this morning she had them all arranged in seats, strollers and beds. She was proud. I so remember when Kate used to organize her families at this age…
One of Eve’s favorite things to do is to sing and perform. Her self-given stage name is “Shynay” (no idea where this came from).

Here’s a collaboration of some of her performances. The first is a bit from Annie, she sings Annie songs all day long. I love it. The others are Shynays. Notice how in the last one, when she moves her microphone we are supposed to yell “Shynay” (per her direction). The best is when she corrects us.

We always tell Eve she’s a “mess and a half.” We love our boop.
